Langtang Valley Trek – 9 Days
A scenic short Himalayan trek near Kathmandu with culture, comfort, and breathtaking views. Experience the refined beauty of Nepal’s Himalayas on the Langtang Valley Trek—an exclusive short trekking journey just north of Kathmandu. Set within the pristine landscapes of Langtang National Park, this immersive adventure blends dramatic alpine scenery with rich Himalayan heritage. Designed for discerning travellers seeking both comfort and authenticity, this 9-day trek offers a seamless balance of scenic walking, cultural discovery, and moderate altitude adventure. The trail winds gracefully through rhododendron and bamboo forests, across glacial streams, and into traditional Tamang villages where centuries-old customs and warm hospitality remain beautifully preserved. As the valley unfolds, take in sweeping views of the towering Langtang Lirung (7,227 m) and surrounding Himalaya peaks. At Kyanjin Gompa, immerse yourself in the spiritual heart of the region, before ascending Tserko Ri (4,984 m) for a breathtaking sunrise panorama over glaciers and snow-draped summits. Far from the busier Everest and Annapurna trails, the Langtang Valley Trek offers a quieter, more intimate Himalayan experience—ideal for those who value natural elegance, cultural depth, and convenient accessibility from Kathmandu without compromising on spectacular mountain scenery.
